Assisted Transportation

Journeys of Joy: Worry-Free Assisted Transportation

GCS understands that every journey is more than just a destination; it’s an experience. Our Assisted Transportation services go beyond merely providing a ride – we prioritize your comfort, safety, and peace of mind throughout every mile.

Our team of trained and compassionate volunteer drivers are dedicated to ensuring that you or your loved ones travel with the utmost care and consideration. Whether it’s a medical appointment, a social outing, or a routine trip to the grocery store, we are here to make each journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

How It Works:

1. Schedule Your Ride: Contact us via phone 905.692.3464, to schedule your assisted transportation service. Please note our team needs at least 2-3 weeks notice for all transportation requests.

2. Personalized Assistance: Inform us about any specific mobility needs or requirements you may have. At this time time, we unfortunately cannot accommodate wheelchairs, but walkers are okay.

3. Confirmation and Notifications: Once your ride is scheduled, you’ll receive confirmation details, including the driver’s information and vehicle details. We prioritize clear communication and will keep you informed every step of the way.

4. On-Time Pick-Up: Our courteous volunteer drivers will arrive promptly at the designated pick-up location. Rest assured, we value punctuality and understand the importance of timely transportation.

5. Comfortable Journey: Sit back, relax, and enjoy a stress-free ride. Our vehicles are equipped to provide a safe and comfortable experience, and our drivers are dedicated to your well-being throughout the journey.

6. Drop-Off with Care: Arrive at your destination safely, where our driver will ensure you are comfortably assisted upon reaching your drop-off point. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

7. Worth the Wait: Our volunteer drivers may wait for participants during appointments depending on the estimated appointment time, or will temporarily leave and return for the end of the errand.

8. Return Home: We ensure that you arrive home securely and with peace of mind.

9. Payment and Feedback: Each ride is $19.00 from Home to Home. Clients will be sent an invoice at the end of the month. Invoices can be paid via phone (905.692.3464) with a Credit Card; via e-transfer to [email protected]; or by cheque, made out to Glanbrook Community Services, 4280 Binbrook Rd., Binbrook, ON, L0R 1C0.
