About GCS

Glanbrook Community Services (GCS) - formerly known as Glanbrook Home Support Programme Inc. - is a non-profit, charitable organization established in 1991.

GCS is dedicated to maintaining and supporting the independence, health, and well-being of primarily seniors and individuals living with disabilities. However, many of our events are designed for and enjoyed by the entire community.

Funding for GCS depends largely on Municipal, Provincial and Federal grants, fundraisers and the generosity of donations from individuals and businesses.

Land Acknowledgement

Glanbrook Community Services (GCS) respectfully acknowledge that our work and community are situated on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. In our roles as residents, neighbours, and partners, we pledge to deepen our understanding of this land’s history and to foster relationships rooted in respect, equity, and collaboration.
